In the 60s we supplied the coal for their power house. We brought in
mty covered hoppers to be loaded with Prills or Amonium Nitrate as
well as Nitroform a fertilizer for lawns and golf courses. They
loaded anhydrous ammonia in large tanks and made a synthetic lube oil
that was loaded in tanks. They made nitric acid which we shuttled
daily to South River for American Cyanimid.. They also made
formaldahyde and unloaded methanol. Once in a while we would bring in
a tank car of Sulferic Acid. Another product we shipped in was tank
cars of Acetaldehyde.
