I've been paring down (after 4 shelves fell off the wall) and I have a large collection (approx 375 pictures) of B&W 8X10's that must find one or more new homes. 1st question: Would the Society be interested in them as a donation - how much red tape would be involved? 2nd: If the Society doesn't turn out to be their new home, what makes the best way to sell them? They are currently kept in sleeves in loose leaf binders organized as follows : Yard Switchers Binder · TR2 A&B 1 · TR2 A&B Rebuilt both have cabs 1 · VO1000 (single and quad stacks) 10 · SW1000 5 · S2 6 · SW1200 5 · NW2 9 · SW1 1 · SW (Winton Pwr) 1 Road Switchers Binder 1 · U25B 5 · FT 10 · F3 33 · F2 1 · F7 11 · U28B 3 · U30B 3 · GP40 4 · GP7 25 · GP9 4 Road Switchers Binder 2 · SD7 7 · SD9 10 · U23C 2 · SD24 7 · SD45 1 · U25C 3 · U28C 4 · GP40 5 · C&S FW&D 10 · GP20 9 · GP30 10 · GP35 7 Steam Binder · 0 6 0T 4 · 4 4 0 1 · 4 4 2 2 · 0 6 0 13 · 2 6 2 4 · 4 6 0 1 · 4 6 2 10 · 4 6 4 6 · 0 8 0 4 · 2 8 2 16 · 4 8 2 3 · 4 8 4 31 · 2 10 4 14 · 2 6 6 2 1 Miscellaneous (Not in sleeves/binders) · E5 7 · E7 6 · E8 15 · E9 4 · CZ F’s 1 · Waycars 17 · Misc 7 I'm tI'm thinking about selling them by binder for maybe a dollar a picture (I understand pictures are currently going for about $4 each) Th Thoughts, please? |
