0-942035-03-8  (Unfortunately, I believe this is an out of print book.)

There is a photo of a mid to late 60's Ford step van with a red bottom (below 
the belt railway), a black belt and a white or very light gray top.  The van 
has a side window with a Burlington Route (r/w/b) herald and "CUSTOMER SERVICE 
OFFICE" in large black all caps block letters centered on the side under the 
window and above the rail.

Photo caption reads:  " The first mobile agency service provided by a US 
railroad is pictured here on the CB&Q at Viola, Illinois;  1967.  Though 
cumbersome to operate, initial use of large vans allowed the CB&Q to determine 
how extensively equipped a traveling agent's office needed to be.  This mobile 
route was discontinued by the BN in February, 1976."

It was in the Jul-September 1968 issue showing two styles of van.  (They arethe 
only Bulletin pages I have!)

There is a colour photo of a red/black/white van on page 67 of the Peavinebook.

One ofthe company "Burlington Bulletins" had an article about these in thelate 
60s. A few pages with many photos.

Allthat stuff is still packed so I can't easily dig it up right 
now...sorryfolks...
