My roster shows the VO-1000's were all delivered in straight black in 11/43
(9350-9351), 12/43 (9352-9357), 11/44 (9358-9364), and 12/44 (9365-9379), but I
don't show where I got the data on the paint scheme for the 1944 deliveries. I
show they were all repainted black and grey in the 1950's, The S-2's came in in
4/43 (9300-9301), 12/43 (9302-9305), and 03/45 (9306-9308). I think the SW's
and NW1's (all built in 1937) and the SW1's (built between 6/39 and 2/41) also
all came in in straight black. I also recall seeing photos of some of the early
centercabs delivered in pure black.
