I was one of the donors to the RI E6 #630 restoration project many moons ago.  Glad to see it's still safe and may be restored again.

Remember that EVERY creditor was paid in full, and there was cash left over at the end. The Rock wasn’t so bad. And the Q had no say in the merger, being owned by the two principal members (GN & NP) who owned the Q; that’s why the merger’s working name was “Great Northern Pacific”.

Thanks!

What would you expect from an outfit that had the Rock Island as a subject railroad? Remember, it went belly up and didn't vanish in a merger like the profitable Q!

Be thankful you’re not in RITS. Whole organization seems to have gone belly up.

Thanks!

Gene,
The BRHS VP Publications  tubaman21@yahoo.com  told me to contact him off list sometime ago, and my request has gone unanswered twice.  If in fact I am not supposed to get a 2014 Calender, are my expectations that exceedingly high to expect someone could take a second to drop me an e-mail saying Your Not Getting One!  Their are several of us in and around Missouri that have not received ours yet.  I would hate to use-up your very hard to get supply.  BTW I am good into 2015.

I guess the best route is to order the Mile Post 206 Publishing, Q calender for 2014 for the last 3/4 of the year.  Keeping my fingers crossed with lowered expectations for getting the 2015 Calender!!  )-:
Thanks!
Herb
