My NMRA and BRHS calendars are side-by-side in the wall, but the BRHS  
calendar has the boldest font and is directly above my computer monitor, so  it 
is referenced daily and frequently gets appointments penned in on the day  
blocks.  My BZ calendar is just above my drafting table, where it is mostly  
just admired for its photo content.  My wife's Chessie calendar is beside  
her computer (we're "old school", having only PSs) and it has all sorts of 
notes  on it!

Does anyone  actually use railroad calendars to track dates or are most, 
like me, just  appreciating the yearly issue of a group of interesting  
photographs?
