    A retired USAF CMSgt and fellow DOD employ also referred to it as

        Hadn't thought about that for many moons.

        Or going home on the late nite dinky and walk thru the smoker
        full of that wacky tobacco you would float between cars. Often
        good peek shows as well.

        As Paul Harvey used to say "the rest of the story" as smelly
        and eye watering as working the smokers on a dinky could be;
        there was the other side..... There was nothing like walking
        into a full coach,eastbound in the morning and getting a full
        waft of a couple dozen or more perfumes. It was better than a
        cosmetic counter at a store. Fully more fragrant than any
        florists. And then there was eye appeal of the seat occupants
        wearing the perfumes !

        No need to go to a bar to meet the opposite sex. Pretty young
        female support staff, in the age before computers, and
        young,or even middle aged males dressed in tailored dark blue
        uniforms with all the attributes of authority. Well let's just
        say many a trainman met his wife on a dinky.
