I thought this photo of my 20 something grandfather, his dad and grandmother was taken at the depot in Gillette, WY until the Barriger Library photos became available. Unfortunately, the photographer (my great-great grandfather?) wasn't much of a railfan because he barely got any of the depot in the shot, let alone a train.

The transom window above the door is consistent with the Lodge Grass saltbox depot preserved in Hardin, MT and probably many others.

The photo is from 1930 or so and the water tank appears to be on the other side of the house track in the foreground. In the Barringer photos of Gillette, the water tower is on the far side of the yard. It's not obvious where the water column is for this tank. There doesn't appear to be tracks near it.

Any ideas of where this might be?
