My father was a clerk in the Q mechanical department. He once gave me a few dozen 3X5 black and white photos that he got from the office. Most are Q engines, but a few were other railroads. I've scanned one of the photos, the number 542. It shows three different plates attached to the smokebox. I'll upload the main picture, and also the best scan I could get of the smokebox plates. The top word on the largest plate appears to be 'American.' __._,_.___
