In the rather large number of Keokuk orders I've accumulated I believe there some that are addressed to C&M as well.

Motorcar driver rather than engineer?

Leo...to add to the TO you saw....In the ICC report on the collision of the PZ and the south local at Napier, MO in October '39 the train orders were addressed to  No. 21 MOTORCAR 9900.   During my braking days most train orders were address to MOTOR NO 1234.   I'll have to check if I've seen anything addressed to c&M.   Although some were as above most were addressed to Engine No. 1234....seemed to be dependent on what the dispatcher wanted to do.

I just picked up some 1942 Aurora division train orders. While I have seen the language in one that states"zephyr type motor trains must not,,,,,,,,,"before; I now see something new on two orders changing a meet from Polo to Milledgeville addressed to C&M no 22. Not C&E as was the norm. Don't think I've ever seen that before.
