I'll give BNSF the benefit of a doubt, that crews were deployed to clearing 
and keeping other parts of the railroad open and that there simply weren't 
enough men to do everything at the same time.

It was a large-scale storm, so let's not second guess them. There were 
passengers inconvenienced, sure, but no one was killed or injured. I 
wouldn't call this bad press.

With regard to the diabetic man, aren't diabetics always aware that they 
must keep snacks on hand, and aren't they prepared for possible delays while 
travelling? C'mon, can't fault the railroad for that one either.
