It is one of the suburban gallery cars, with the area just to left of the center door visible between the boxcars.  The dark round thing that you are looking at appears to be one of the 1964 emblems attached to the gallery cars celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the Chicago - Aurora line.

Subject: [CBQ] What is the car in the background?

 

On page 57 of CB&Q Color Guide to Freight and Passenger Equipment by Michael J. Spoor the upper picture of CBQ 47065 there is a stainless steel car in the background in which you see just a little bit of it.  What is the car??  Is that a round  window?  Looks like the proper Zephyr font, but I am really curious.  Can anyone identify the car and show me another photo of the complete car?
