AFAIK the Walthers truck is technically the C&NW truck, not the CB&Q No.7.  Different shape on the pedestal castings.   The No.2 was used on many other cars besides the CWs.

So the new No.7 truck does have a place in the HO marketplace and of course the No2 is new to both HO and O.  The old All-Nation No.7 truck was pretty decent having been mastered by Hank Balinski (author of the Nov 1954 Burlington Bobber article and more recently modeling the CB&Q in exquisite 3” Scale live steam models) but I am guessing that the new one will be much better, especially being brass vs. pot metal.

N Scalers already have the excellent Shapeways produced trucks by Eric Cox’s Panamint Models
