On page 111 of BB#35, #543 is shown at Centralia in 1955 with a Pyle National headlight.

I have just received an HO Proto 2000 CB&Q USRA F-1 0-8-0 #543. It is a nice model with good details, nice sound, and good operation. I have two minor questions about it. There is no round number plate on the smokebox front door. As it was built by Alco Brooks in 1919, would there be writing around the number plate? What color would the numbers be on the number plate? Photos in Corbin's Steam Locomotives of the Burlington Route show #548 and #542 in 1937 with the unique Q "cuckoo clock" headlight. Would #543 have such a headlight in the late 1940s?
