Turntables and wyes have different symbols on ETT's. What does your's say? Y stands for wye and T stands for turntable (at least in later ETT's).

Following on from the recent postings about the possibility of a wye or turntable at Belmont, Nebraska (and ignoring all my opinions on the subject) I’ve received a 1911 Alliance & Edgemont employee time table no. 120 which clearly shows that there was a wye or turntable at Belmont. I still don’t think that a wye was possible given the terrain but I think I have identified the spot where there could have been a turntable.

The next questions are when was it installed and when was it removed.  If anyone has an ETT for the end of the 19th century (1890 onwards) or early part of the 20th century, can you check what is shown for Belmont.

Thanks vey much.
