Yes, in the mid 70s we were coming back from the CNW interchange downtown on the 1PM mail in the spring of the year. Unknown to us in the engine about 7 or 8 cars back a wheel picked the switch by the old Q depot and as we proceeded east,after getting the signal from the tower every box car behind it followed along. We quickly had 5 or 6 "on the ground" with a couple laying on their sides. Luckily the first couple bounced over the J xing so it was clear for traffic.

Never received a letter "to ascertain ......etc. 

I remember so clearly old Ben Darling asking "kid you sure you got all the hand brakes off the transfer cause they're pulling hard" just before we went into emergency
