I have been thru most of Bob's CB&Q & other RR items from his home in Omaha & last evening accessed a storage facility in Alexandria, VA where he resided a couple yrs. In sum, there will be offered, f1st to CB&Q Yahoo and then to general publis via eBay & RR shows, virtually every bras CB&Q loco, passenger, waycar or freight car imported, ALL patterns of Q china inc the eleusive spitton, the # plate from 2-10-4 #6312, tall globe lantern with Burlington embossed globe, oil cans, books, "paper", etc etc. Bob had THE best CB&Q china collection anywhere in USA inc pieces that rarely change hands. Bob also modeled HO & liked early Varney/Athearn metal cars so has many of these of all roadnames. There are also AT&SF items form his time installing solar singnals on the main in SW USA. On behalf of his sons I ma seeking a reasonable amount for each item that i will be listing. That said, Bob preferred his collection stay with serious CB&Q fans, not dealers or generic collectors & since ebay get a nice cut, I will accept reasonable offers. Several items are large: B&MR in Neb Tariff cabinet & CB&Q (Corning, IA depot) ticket cabinet so could be FOB Omaha, Des Moines, Garner or in case of the ticket cabinet: Alexandria, VA (DC area) Will get a list our soon BUT the collection is massive.
