Pullman-Standard PS-2CD 4000 covered hopper paint schemes! Available TODAY,
this release includes 6 ALL-NEW paint schemes and 4 rerun paint schemes. Our
Pullman-Standard PS-2CD 4000 covered hoppers are available for order now
directly from our storefront at www.tangentscalemodels.com and from hobby shops
in coming weeks.
Pullman-Standard originally produced these unique round hatch covered hoppers
in the 1962-1964 period, and they remained in service throughout the US,
Canada, and Mexico until the early 2000s wearing both Class 1 and lease paint
schemes. Our RTR replicas are available NOW in the following 6 ALL-NEW schemes:
- Burlington Northern (BN) in the eye-catching full-scheme "Cascade Green" with
a 6-72 paint date. This is Tangent Scale Models' first offering of this model
in our "true-to-life" Cascade Green, and it goes well with our previous
releases of our PS4740s. Offered in 6 road numbers, so don't miss them!
- Chicago & North Western (CNW) in the "zito yellow" scheme with a 1989 paint
date. These yellow replicas are available in 2 numbers, and each car number
includes distinctive LD LMT and paint date data! Check them out! And don't
forget to mix and match with our 3 green CGW PS4000s from this run!
- Chesapeake & Ohio (C&O) available in the "original gray" scheme from 1962.
Available in 3 road numbers, these cars include Tangent Scale Model's
hyper-accurate and very classy "C&O for Progress" logo. Check it out!
- CSX "tan" is available in 3 road numbers and include the spelled out CSX
initials in between panels on the right side of the car. Check out these
fabulous models for your CSX feed, phosphate, or other bulk services. And
don't forget to watch for the super cool "Ease Up" lettering on the car ends!
- Kansas City Southern (KCS) available in the "repaint" brown scheme with
distinctive, large "KCS" lettering. Found all over the Midwest, these hoppers
are now available in 2 road numbers.
- Wisconsin and Southern (WSOR) available in the "original gray" scheme with
distinctive "WS" logo with Canadian Goose, available in 2 road numbers. Show
your support for regional and shortline railroad modeling by considering these
two cars for your collection!
We also are offering the following 4 sold-out schemes again, but with NEW
NUMBERS!
- Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy (CB&Q) is available again in the "original
gray" scheme from 1963, available in 3 new road numbers. This scheme includes
the distinctive "Burlington Route" placard and accurately-painted black
underframe between truck centers.
- Chicago & North Western in "Clinton Green" with CGW reporting marks. Sold
out in 2008, these 3 road numbers are available again after popular demand ?
thank you for making your voices heard!. Don't forget to mix and match these
replicas with our 2 CNW zito yellow offerings offered in this run!
- Milwaukee Road (MILW) in the striking "original gray" color scheme with
highly-accurate "Milwaukee Road" lettering on the carbody, available in 3 new

- Nickel Plate Road (NKP) in the attractive 1962 "original black" scheme,
available again in 3 new road numbers. These cars feature the attractive
