Louis, in reference to your question about the CB&Q whistle for sale right now 
on Ebay and the handle, that's the second handle I've seen like that.  I used 
to own a CB&Q 5-chime that had a similar handle on it and my whistle supposedly 
came out of Colorado.  I don't know if this was a C&S thing or not but mine did 
not have the number stamped on it.  My current CB&Q steptop does not have this 
style of handle.

Nice whistle, kind of pricey though.

I've never seen a Q locomotive number stamped onto the whistle lever. Plus, 
 I've never seen a "curved" lever. Does any one have an image of the 5602 
where  you can see such a curved lever? - Louis
