Thank you Leo for your research. My Dad, Ralph Brummel, worked in the Aurora shops during about 1942-45. His main job was redoing the seats and other repairs on the troop cars that the Army used over Q lines. He was still there when the first dome car was constructed; in fact he worked adjacent to it.
