Same with most of Crooks Terminal. I did save some from House 9 and got some from the Engineering Office when it was at Galesburg(out of the trash) BUT that it the exception. Most history is tossed. Suprisingly,at least at UTLX, when the compnay moved from 111 W Jackson to
175 W Jackson in,for the sake of discussion,2000, there was a massive cleansing
and purging of old files both in the office and at the warehouse.
I actually got to wear jeans for a few days while we went thru the old
dusty stuff and even worked a couple Saturdays combing thru it.
Retained ?,what retention ?,everything not of current value was
tossed.
