Interestingly the reporting marks "SCCX" in later years were for Shell Oil Company but in 1919 Shell used "RPX" which stood for Roxana Petroleum Company which was the then US domestic affiliate of the Royal Dutch Shell Oil and Trading Company. Roxana, Illinois, near St.Louis, the home of a huge Shell refinery (served by the Q), is named for the old company.

If you need to know the mileage between depots within a railroad's boundaries, there are tables for many railroads in the 1919 book "All About Tank Cars" (Standard Car Construction Co.) at
http://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?u=1&num=1&seq=314&view=image&size=100&id=nnc1.cu55808360
CB&Q distances on book pages 69-74, C&S on book page 102, FW&D on book pages 116-7After the tables, there is a history of the company, description of its works, MCB / FSA / ICC specifications and requirements for different types of tanks, trucks, etc. (page 313) classifications (page 337) stencilling diagrams (page 385) The index is on page 400.  There are also two prints of SCCX 1919 following page 306. I don't know how long the MCB specifications remained valid.Rupert GamlenAuckland NZ
