One of my now fabulous Memories is a trip From Casper WY to Cheyenne for the Natrona County VS one of the Cheyenne high schools.  We went by train!!  1962 Steam power and old heavy weights, 1963 desiel power old heavy weights.  Baggage car up front that served as a snak bar.  1962 We hit a pickup in Douglas, no one hurt and definately no damage to the steam engine.  The railraod let the police handle the affair and continued on our trip.  Great Memories.

Yes, in all likelihood it was one of the countless school children's steam specials operated by the Q; it it doesn't have a baggage car up front, it's a school children's train, not a railfan trip
