Talking about rates. They are based on tonnage. So when I first got the ADM job I looked at the tonnage we were getting paid for and it was based on a little geep. But I was sure the trains were being pulled by SD's and higher HP thus more weight. I talked to the guy I was doing the reports for and he told me get him the figures. So I went thru my old X2200S and found the rosters and that way found the tonnage for the locomotives. So for each train I had to figure out the tonnage for the locomotive consist and add that to the train tonnage to get the right tonnage. BN had been losing millions each month. So management cut the job off.
Then they moved us to Texas where for the first time and all the jobs moved to Texas first were the old CB&Q jobs all in one office before any of the NP or GN jobs. As I understand it that all of the trackage rights agreements between the BNSF and the UP as a result of the UP-SP merger are based on this contract and it is not cheap. The rates are subject to an annual adjustment. Fred Crissey From: James Vivian <jvivian765@yahoo.com>

eastward on the Mendota Sub. and when this arrangement came into being? I know this must have carried over into the UP merger as I have have seen run-through stack trains in the fairly recent past. __._,_.___
