Hello Pete - Dave Visney was trainmaster at Rock Island when I started in the trainee program (after a full two year stint in the Army) back

Some..maybe most of you know that this photo of CB&Q RFE Red Visney ran in TRAINS maybe in the 1950's He was running one of the Twin Cities Zephyrs at 90 MPH..It was controversial because of the "cigar" and reportedly Murphy asked DPM not to run it, but TRAINS ran it anyway..It's indeed a classic.
Red Visney was fatther of DAve Visney who was a few years ahead of me in the Rock Island Officer's training program. I "followed" Dave as Asst. TM at Little Rock in 1961 when he was promoted to Trainmaster at Rock Island.
Dave went on to become a Division Supt on the RI and later had a title something like Manager car tracing.
I've lost track of Dave now and think that he may be deceased...I'd be happy to be corrected if this is incorrect.
