Bill...I saw your post about "shakes"...Tell me where you saw that???   That was kind of a private thing which I didn't remember ever posting. 
 
Tell me what you saw and where and once I'm convinced that we're on the same page I'll tell you about it.

Here is another modern application of a stylus. When paying by cheack at many stores, we get to sign our names on an electronic pad with a stylus (wired into the device)so that our check can be an EFT fund transfer.

Back at 4-H camp in 1970-1977, the Tandy leather craft tools included a metal stylus to trace a pattern on damp leather for follow up with the swivel knife & other stamping tools. Possible the intricate western patterns on saddles, boots, etc are created partially with a leather craft stylus.

So Pete: how about "The Shakes" ? Please spill what you know.
