I recently heard a brief mention of a phenomenon called "The Shakes" associated 
with railfanning.  

Something about the "KC Shakes", "St louis Shakes", maybe even the "Shattuc 
Shakes".  More locationas may have been mentioned that I did not catch.  

Can anyone tell us more about "The Shakes" ?

Is "Steak & Shake" somehow involved in this ?  I could go for a Royal 
Steakburger with a Strawberry Shake !
