Dave:

Truck 48-A is a 50-ton capacity Andrews truck with a 5'-6" wheelbase.
Truck 58-B is a 50-ton capacity AAR standard spring plankles, double truss, self-aligning truck with a 5'-6" wheelbase.

Right now I can't locate drawings of the other two, but I believe both are of the AAR standard type, though one could be a National B or B-1.  I'll keep searching.

List Members,

I am trying to identify what truck name corresponds with the following numbers: 48A, 58B, 65A and 67. Can you help identify one or all of these?

On p. 23 of BB#7 we have the equivalency of several types of trucks found under XM-32 box cars: Truck #65 is identified as an AAR double truss, self-aligning type; truck #66 is identified as the outlawed Allied full cushion type; truck #67 is identified as an ASF version of the standard unit type ( I don't know how to interpret what standard unit-type means); truck #68 is identified as a National type; truck #79 is idetified as an ASF type A-3 ride control version (here I am assuming the word version refers to 50 ton, 70 ton or 100 ton truck).

Would appreciate any and all help offered.

Thanks, Dave Sarther
