Larry

Looks like many of the Q SD7/9s received the all weather windows, on both sides from what I can determine.  But in reading the BB on SDs, looks like they didn't start receiving them until late in the Q time period, just before the merger.

What I would like to know from the engineers on the list, how much did that extra 3-4 inches of window really help?  Also, what was the primary reason for the windows, to keep heat in, keep rain out?

Thanks

The MLE and Overlands have a 45 degree slope on the top section and are spot on for the ones used on the EJ&E. You may have to splice 2 of the Details West window boxes together, but then I don't think the end windows have the correct opening. I don't think there is a perfect solution.
