Having found your inquiry only a decade after original posting, I'm disappointed no responses followed as I(a johny-come-lately Mo. "Q" inquirer), too, would like to know. I have found from a variety of maps(from Sanborns to USGS, that this branch physically connected to SFe there in early days but dunno about true interchange, whereas connection to Wabash was via local dummy/traction line. any other obsevations? Wundrin' if any stub of branch still survives, if only to reach local Co-Op elevatorsor Gasahol plant. I began to wonder if branch survived until BNSF merger and only got dropped later in lieu of access by SFe line? --- In CBQ@yahoogroups.com, kczephyr@... wrote: > > In a message dated 2/23/2000 9:54:19 PM Central Standard Time, > tarostar@... writes: > > > From: Steve Edwards <tarostar@...> > > > > Okay ... so I finally found the abandoned right of way for the CB&Q > > branch line into Carrollton, MO ... so for the next set of questions. > > How long after the Brookfield Cutoff was this branch line abandoned ... > > and was there an interchange with the Santa Fe or Wabash? > > > Okay, I know it's getting late.
