RE: The comments on Wikopedia re FRED...Here's a little story...True....told me by W.C. Bush who was in the 1980's Asst Supt here in Lincoln.
Chuck says: "I was out in the yard one night walking around and came upon an "old timer" car inspector...I said..Well, Sam what do you think about these new FRED's.
Sam said..."Well, Mr. Bush I think they're gonna be alright....They don't give you a lot of S.....and they're not always wantin a bucket a ice"
I may have posted this one before, but in deference to my ancient age and near approach to senility I trust I can be forgiven.
