Empire Timber Treating ran a tie treating plant at Riverton for the C&NW and they bought the 8901 for use there after the Q treatment plant at Sheridan, Wyo., was closed.  They never bothered to repaint the unit, and it was gone by the time I checked for it in the late 1960s.
