I stand corrected.   Maybe relating to an RPO route?    Can’t think of any other application, although I am surprised to see the herald on a Mail Service badge if that is what it is.

I have a "USM Burlington Route 32" pin badge that is about 1 and 1/2 inches tall and about the same wide possible made of nickel and was engraved by SD Childs of Chicago. Can you give me any information on this badge?

 

 

This sounds like it relates to a town of Burlington and a United States Mail  route and not the CB&Q or Burlington Route.
