I would have to add my amen to both Dave's and Jack's posts and challenge every one to also support the society and become a sustaining member one look at our publications and you also will agree.   Just the calendar and the pair of Zephyrs each year is the same as most societies with the Bulletin the bonus.  And the latest with not one but TWO Foldouts.

Thank you Dave Lotz for expressing most thoughtfully the reason for
supporting the society. I have been a member for, I think, going on 40
years and for most of that time, a sustaining member. Although I
haven't exactly availed myself of the social aspect of being a member (I
have only been to three annual meetings) I certainly feel my dues money
to have been very well spent because of the invaluable reference work
provided by our volunteer authors and editors. This yahoo group itself
has also provided a number of fascinating historical insights.
Again, thanks to Dave for getting up on that soapbox.
