The Q and C&NW power did not run though. They exchanged power at Girard between Centralia and Beardstown. The Q crews ran in turn around service out of Centralia. Sometimes they ran waycar light up or waycar light back. It was one of the few runs north of Centralia that used Centralia freight pool crews. Along those same lines, the Centralia to East St. Louis and North St. Louis runs had Centralia crews but when the "silversides" stated going to Machens, there was a special pool that had Centralia (old Beardstown Division) crews and North St. Louis (old Hannibal Division) crews in it. If I remember right, it had three Centralia crews and one North St. Louis crew. Anyway Jeff, I see you indicated one of the photos shows CNW power. A friend of mine models CNW and we'd like to each run a train (that is if we can ever find the cars). Could you post the other WEPX photos you got from Wisconsin Electric? Of if that is too big of a hassle, let me know who you contacted there so I can try to get the photos directly?
