I go back and read thru the entire year on Rupert's posts of articles and in the Sept. 23 1898 was a couple lines that the CB&N had contracted for two new roundhouses. George Grant was to build one in St. Paul while Hennessy& Cox was to build one at Savannah(That was the spelling used) 8 more class H locos were to be built in the Aurora Shops And in the 12/23/89 issue two spans of the new Beardstown Bridge were complete with one more to be built. Just takes time Steve in SC ________________________________ From: Charlie Vlk <cvlk@comcast.net> To: CBQ@yahoogroups.com Sent: Tue, October 25, 2011 1:46:51 PM Subject: RE: [CBQ] Something Old 10 Rupert- Spooky!!! In my earlier post I mentioned the need for more documentation of this very subject, and you recently posted it (I am going through 4-5 days worth of emails as I was busy at the Railroad Prototype Modelers Meet at Lisle and iHobby ).
