I was gifted a brand-new Scotchlite BR Herald from the Clyde Roundhouse back in 1964-ish. It is rolled up and other than that should be in pristine shape…. and has the advantage of not being mounted to a heavy metal panel! I presume it was the size and type used on diesels.. I haven’t measured it and don’t know what the size variations there were between GPs, SDs, Es, Fs, switchers, etc.. so don’t know what it was for exactly. Some day it’ll get mounted to a piece of ¼” tempered Masonite and hung in a finished train room or my office.
