Pete,

As Ken Martin notes, the current WP&Y #69 is not C&S $69. The current  
locomotive was built for the WP&Y by Baldwin in 1908. It was retired  
in 1954, sold to the Black Hills Central in 1956, sold to Nebraska  
Midland in 1973, last run there in 1990 and resold to the WP&Y in  
2001. It was rebuilt and returned to service in 2008.

The C&S #69 became WP&Y #20 in 1943, retired in 1944 and scrapped in  
Seattle in 1946. C&S #70 was renumbered #21 by the WP&Y in June,  
1943, retired in 1944 and shipped to Seattle where it, too, was  
scrapped in 1946.
