The only photo I have found is in Spoor Vol. 2 page 79. That photo
provides basically a south elevation. I would be interested to locate
photos showing the front (west) and rear (east) sides especially.

specifically in the info that Tim Fleck provided on the "Depot Drawing
CD's" he made available last year. That material included alphabetical
listings of depots, but Galena Jct. was not included in the list. I
wonder why that would be? Also, I wonder if Galena Jct followed a
"standard" design or floor plan, and where I would be likely to find
one?

Further to all previous items in this thread, I am still looking for
additional photos of the Galena Junction Depot, particularly west(front)
and east(rear) elevations. However, I thought some of you might be
interested in my 'draft interpretation' of the Galena Junction Depot in
N-scale. Here are links to some photos.

The basis for this model is Blair Line's "Leeton Depot" kit. I
reversed all of the parts in order to switch the waiting room to the
south end and the freight room to the north, as I believe was the case
for the Galena Jct. Depot. Also, I modified the roof to have vented
gables as per the photo in Spoor's book.
Any info you can provide me that will help improve this model will
greatly be appreciated! Especially photos, of course. But also any
anecdotes you may have. The Galena Jct. Ddepot structure was not
typical for the Burlington, and in fact is virtually identical to a
standard depot of the Rock Island. Of course, the Burlington does not
join the Rock Island ROW for another mile to the north of the Galena
River bridge, at Portage. How could that be, one wonders?
