The Brookfield Zoo was not built until after the founding of the Chicago
Zoological Society in 1934. I'd love to see a scan of the photo as it doesn't
ring true..... I don't think the CZS had a dedicated car much less for
giraffes..... but who knows....
The Shedd Aquarium car, on the other hand, is well documented.... there were,
in fact, two of them, both named "Nautilus" The first was a Heavyweight car and
the second a Pullman-Standard lightweight corrugated car.
