Thoughtful of you to share within Q fandom as a) only one printing, b) no reprints, c) a smaller press run than 'Steam Locos...' or "Transition" and d) was Bernie's 'personal book' as his ties to the Q began withe K&W/H&S. Seldom are copies seen anywhere. Also the topic, unlike say 'Burlington passenger trains', is unlikely to ever be covered again. Gerald To: CBQ@yahoogroups.com From: steamera@netins.net Date: Sun, 5 Jun 2011 18:30:31 -0500 Subject: [CBQ] FS: Across Iowa on the Keokuk and Western and the Humeston and Shenandoah Railroads by Bernard Corbin and Joseph Hardy For Sale: Across Iowa on the Keokuk and Western and the Humeston and Shenandoah Railroads by Bernard Corbin and Joseph Hardy. Excellent condition with a previous owner's name written in the inside cover, otherwise free of markings. Asking $65, plus shipping. I came across an extra copy of this great book and would like to get it into the hands of an appreciative Q fan. It contains dozens of photos, drawings and maps, plus history about the Q's neat Southern Iowa/Northern Missouri branches. Long out of print, and becoming difficult to find. Please contact me off-list at steamera@netins.net <mailto:steamera%40netins.net> if you are interested.
