9735 60's switching Galesburg to Macomb
9841 57-59 Train 147-148 Galesburg to Savanna via Rock Island
9772 57-60 Galesburg to Peoria with trailer
9767(only Silver Doodlebug)with Silver Pendlum Connection Brookfield/Cameron to

9816 48-52 On the Dolly (Branch lines BN to Galesburg north of the main)
9849 mid 50's Burlington to Quincy on east side of river also show photo on
Cameron to St. Joe Connection
9845 (see above) later moved to Creston to St. Joe branch
9770 51-54 Ottumwa to Des Moines
But the units moved around and sometimes replaced with Geep and combine or
coaches during maintenance.
Assignment sheets is for maintenance that does not mean that is the only place
a
unit operated if needed.
Just as a timetable is for info only traffic and operating practices moved the
trains

Steve,
Where the photos dated? 9841 and 9845 are listed in the St. Joe Division in
1954. 9731 and 9849 were assigned to the Hannibal Division in 1954. I don't
see 9843 on the 1954 assignment list. I'd like to know which motors were on
the Burlington locals, since I want to scratchbuild a couple of cars.

>From the May-September 1951 public timetable, train 176/177 ran between
Burlington and Galesburg, and train 110/109 ran between Burlington and
Quincy. Both trains ran daily except Sunday and both trains were assigned
motor cars. Train 7/78 ran between Burlington and Bloomfield, but it was a
mixed freight. A mixed freight ran from Burlington to Washington, but the
train number was not listed in the TT, just a note to consult the agent. The
power assignment table for Lines East shows the following cars were assigned
to the Galesburg Division in 1954:
9732, 9735, 9766, 9772, 9773, 9816, 9818, 9846
I don't know which motors were assigned to the Burlington locals.

Is there any information concerning a interurban single car from Burlington
Ia. to south or north in the late 1940's into the 1950's?
