At Casper, with no painting facilities, 4960 was painted gold overnight
the night before the 50th anniversary celebration, and they were just
finishing up the work the morning of the celebration when we arrived
from Denver. The did mask off the road number and reporting marks on the
cab side so they appeared in a black rectangle.
