I've got three, two of which have only been test-run. I've got the boxes though the units haven't been in the boxes for a while. I agree that the gray is much darker than it appears in photos and I ordered them expecting a mtach to the SD7s. If you're rellay interetsed in buying one, contatc me off list. Duncan Cameron ----- Original Message ----- From: smokyjoe66 To: CBQ@yahoogroups.com Sent: Saturday, March 12, 2011 11:57 PM Subject: [CBQ] proto-2000 Walthers CB & Q GP7 I am sure this is old topic but I should very much like to hear from a persnickety Q modeler who is familiar with the proto-2000 Walthers CB & Q GP7 in "blackbird" scheme. If anyone has an extra one in mint condition with original box for sale please contact me. Otherwise, I should just like to establish communications with someone "off list" to inform myself about a number of details about the locomotive. Particularly interested in whether the gearing had the same problems as the proto-2000 Q GP30, and the color of that "gray on top" which looks much too dark to me.
