Q B&B paint gangs painted depots and every other bridge and building. This was in the day before "out sourcing". The railroad did everything themselves i.e. in house. Even so far as when the depot toilet stopped up, you had to wait for the water sevice repairman to fix it. And for a long time that meant you had to wait for him to get there on his motor car. --- On Fri, 3/4/11, jeff worones <jworones@yahoo.com> wrote: From: jeff worones <jworones@yahoo.com> Subject: [CBQ] Depot painting To: CBQ@yahoogroups.com Date: Friday, March 4, 2011, 2:51 PM Odd question for the group... When a depot was repainted, would a Q crew do it, or would a local contractor be hired? Thanks!
