Yes, the internals of 91 were used to convert IRM's former Michigan Northern
671
steam generator car, ex-Union Pacific 967B E-9B unit back into a working E-9B
unit. This locomotive is now leased to the WSOR and is painted to match their
E
units. I was told that when WSOR retires their E-units, they will donate the
set to IRM, so eventually, the guts of 91 will return to IRM.
