Michael,

Do you mean the south side? The west end is an open portico and has  
been for the depot's entire existence. The baggage / express room was  
on the east end of the building. That originally also had a small two  
column portico which was later bricked in to enlarge the baggage  
room. That can also be seen from the brick work.
