[CBQ] Special Guest Speaker and Open House

  The Savanna Historical Society will be hosting our annual fall open house 
Saturday November 20th and Sunday November 21st, from 10:00am till 4:00 pm each 
day. The H.O. scale layout featuring the Milwaukee Road and CB&Q railroads will 
be operating. The civil war display featuring over 100 life size mannequins 
will also be open. This year we also have a special program by Railroad 
Historian Simon Cordery, on Saturday November 20th at 1:00 pm titled 
,"Crossroads of the Nation: The hidden history of the railroads in Illinois". 
Admission to the program is free. The Savanna Historical Society is located at 
406 Main Street, Savanna Illinois. Right Downtown across from the VFW. For more
