It is still standing. Was going to be renovated into condos and retail space 
but didn't get completed.  Not sure what the current status is. The UP station 
however is has been renovated into a RR museum and is very nice!

btw, I am a avid lurker to the list for several years now.  Son of an engineer 
on the Q then BN from 1941 to 1986 out of the Creston Division. Enjoy all the 
information posted though most of it is Illinois related.
