Lots of modern stuff out there in Z, and every once in a while the guys stuck
in the 50s and early 60s get something. AZL has some heavyweight passenger cars
on the way, as well as 2 kinds of Mikados!
Full Thottle has Z scale C&S and well as Q coal hoppers. And Microtrains has a
set of GP35s in red.
I am from down the track from Zeigler, in Sesser, and my dad and brother worked
at Orient 3 mine in Waltonville, also on the Q. I really understand Southern
Illinoisan, and can speak it sometimes.
If anyone has some good pictures or references of that area, please share. I am
currently building a bridge similar to the one in Christopher Illinois, again
down the tracks from Zeigler.
